To play you must be whitelisted.
Rule#1 Griefers will be banned. Their homes will be blown up with tnt and their livestock will be raped.
For the most part this is a vanilla SMP server. That means with a few exceptions (grass blocks) we will not be generating tools/ supplies for you, were going to play the game the way it was intended.(An exception is made for those first joining the server.)
Every player will be given a house in Capolan Village and some tools upon joining the server. If you lose your tools, your on your own. You can modify the inside of your home but not the outside. Because the homes are flammable, fireplaces are not allowed in the village.
Please identify what you build as belonging to you, so we know who to ask should any requests/problems arise.
You can basically build where ever you want. The only exceptions are no building near the spawn so we have room to expand, and we require that you ask someone before building near them. People violating this rule may be asked to tear down what they built.
We do have a Mob Grinder. The items it delivers are for everyone. Modifying the Grinder without permission is considering griefing. See rule#1. No one is allowed inside of the grinder.
There is also a Spleef arena. This is for public use. Snow blocks for the arena floor and shovels are provided. Please leave the floor intact and put shovels back when you are done. Modifying the Arena without permission is not allowed. Except obviously the snow blocks on the Arena floor.
There is a Meeting hall in Capolan Village with chests for extra items. Please feel free to take what you need. Try and replace it with extra items when you can.
Modifying others structures without permission is considered griefing. Depending on the situation a warning may be issued, otherwise see rule#1
Removing items from other players chests without permission is considered griefing. See rule#1
Nobone block towers
No nature griefing. This means things like leaving half of a tree floating in the air
Try to repair creeper divots. I understand this may sometimes be difficult or impossible, so just do the best you can.
It is generally ok to explore any structure in the game. If someone wishes a building to remain private, please place a sign at all of the entrances indicating who owns it and the fact that it is private. People ignoring these requests will be given a warning, then it will be considered griefing. See rule#1

Minecart tracks from Capolan Village and tunnels through the nether are for public use. Do not alter Minecart tracks from spawn without asking. Adding tunnels through the nether is ok as long as the current ones are not destroyed.
Harassing others & excessive profanity in chat will be considered griefing. See rule#1
In general swearing is ok, unless it becomes excessive or targets a specific person.
We were all new once, so try to help others when you can. I really hate it when people repeatedly make an issue out of someone being a "Noob". So dont do it.
